A native Texan, mother of two grown daughters and a recent grandmother, Charlotte has been selling Austin real estate since 1984. Corporate transfers moved her family every few years while she was growing up, and settling in Austin fulfilled her dream of establishing roots and raising her children in one place. She considers herself and her children very fortunate that Austin just happened to be the place they call home. Charlotte is especially pleased and proud that her older daughter teaches and her younger daughter is now working in Real Estate and loves it!
Charlotte enjoys having fun and has a variety of interests that include travel, volunteer work, architecture, fashion, reading, cooking, physical fitness/exercise and many good friends. She loves volunteer work and has been involved in many organizations, including The Junior League of Austin, Women’s Symphony League of Austin, Women’s Fund—The Power of the Purse, Heritage Society of Austin, Ballet Austin Guild, Austin Natural Science Association Guild, Austin Junior Forum, National Charity League, Austin Museum of Art, Blanton Museum, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Umlauf Sculpture Gardens, EISD parent organizations, Eanes Education Foundation and many, many others. As a result of her many years of volunteerism, she has been honored as Volunteer of the Year by the Austin Board of REALTORS®. Charlotte is a life-long Presbyterian and an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church. She is also a member of Barton Creek Country Club.
Charlotte has many interests, but real estate is her passion. She has been a respected top producer in the Austin marketplace for many years, and is highly respected in the Austin real estate community, well known for her expertise and broad knowledge, especially of the luxury market. Her history, her insight of the marketplace, and familiarity with new construction and architecture add a unique level of sophistication to her real estate expertise. Austin’s Elite25 is composed of the agents that close the majority of the high-end sales in the Austin marketplace, with members selected each year based on confirmed and documented luxury sales. Charlotte is one of the few agents in the city to have been selected a member of Austin’s Elite25 each and every year since its 1994 origination. Representing both buyers and sellers, she has facilitated many public and private, high profile sales over the years. When the right property doesn’t seem to materialize, she always manages access to a variety of properties that are not actively on the market or in MLS, and effectively pulls another “rabbit out of the hat!” Ask for her list of references and you will meet many nice people whose successful transactions represent a variety of price ranges and properties with one common, consistent aspect: Charlotte.
